Kiriban Prize: Kushi

I slapped my name there again- 8D

I think it's been almost a year since Boss caught that kiriban of mine-//SHOT
So, Boss, aka circuszombie caught a kiriban of mine... along time ago- And she requested for me to create a character inspired from sculptures/figures made by Ellen June (I ain't gonna link to her dA page, since, well you know dA gives mentions messages now, and I don't think she needs to see this <xD) Just search for: creaturesfromel , on dA, and you'll see her works/ her page.

And so, this is the result-
I must say that this is probably the most PINK, CRIMSON AND RED'EST THING I'VE EVER DRAWN- *cringes* I just... didn't know what to do with the colours OTL
As you can see, I took influence from eastern culture for her outfit. I somewhat combined it with my basic steampunk elements (as you can see the corset, puffy layers, frills, clock work and key-) As you can guess by that, for in what world she lives in- My plot hole paradise called Steampunk Land-//SHOT
But in the eastern region.
Kinda like how Mae is from the northern and scandinavian region of said 'Steampunk Land'.

Personality: Quiet, well mannered, shy, attentive, petite, obedient, curious.

Back story:
When Kushi was born, she had small horns on her head. The humans of her mother's town saw her as a bringer of bad luck, and could not accept her as their own.
So her mother took her somewhere she thought she could belong to, a forest where ghosts, spirits and demons resided. No wise human would dare to enter there. Waiting at the enterance to the forest, was a great spirit, in the image of a deer, and sometimes a man. Not farther by blood, but by bond to any child that was not accepted by humans, nor seen as one. Her father accepted her as his own, and she grew up in that forest, in a small house, just for her. Sometimes she would get visitors, to which she greeted them politely, and offered them company as a host. Those visitors were never human, and sometimes could be considered monsters, but she did not fear them. Atleast, not as much as humans, who she had grown to avoid. She had not seen one in the many years she lived, nor was she ever brave enough to leave the forest to see them.


So yeah. If Kushi would see a human (...or atleast recognize one, since it's been years since she's actually seen one), she'd pretty much freeze like a deer in headlights-//SHOT-BAD JOKE.
I can't really give Kushi's age, since she ages differently due to either her... heritage- or due to the forest. Perhaps both-
Will I ever draw Kushi again?... Ehhhh probably!- But I need a rest... since... this whole thing was a pain OTL
